The first day we went to the Magic Kingdom was February 29, 2012... Leap Day! In honor of Leap Day, Disney decided to have what they called One More Disney Day. The park was open from 6am-6am, 24 hours. We couldn't wait to finally get to the Magic Kingdom on our trip. Unfortunately, some of us had other plans...
Caitlin woke up that morning and I could tell she had a high fever. We found an urgent care center nearby and headed there, delaying our departure for Disney. Fortunately, they were so nice and took us back right away. We still had to wait about 45 min for the Doctor, but they at least let us go on back. Caitlin had a temp over 104 degrees the poor girl! The doctor finally took a look and determined it was just a virus. He went ahead and gave us a prescription in case she didn't get better (and it turned into sinus infection or ear infection) and they gave her some medicine to bring down the fever. When we got back, she seemed to be feeling better and we thought we would at least go and keep her in her stroller and everyone enjoy part of the day.
Evan and Daddy on the monorail to MK
To say Evan was excited was an understatement! We didn't get there until almost 11am so we only walked around for a few hours before heading home for naps.

Evan and Caitlin waiting for the Pooh ride
After nap time, just a few of us went back to the park to experience the One More Disney Day! We got there just in time for the fireworks.
After that, we did quite a few rides and saw the Electric Parade. That was my 2nd favorite parade of the trip.
We did just a few more rides before Bryce, Evan, Will, and I headed home (Becca and Casey stayed until something crazy like 2am). I couldn't believe how well Evan did considering we probably didn't get to bed until 1am.
Becca, Casey, and Evan on the magic carpet ride - one of Evan's favorites!
Overall, it was a lot of fun but I was sad Caitlin didn't get to enjoy it. Don't worry - we go back on Friday!
