Easter - Part 2

We were lucky enough to have Mema and Papa in town for Easter this year and we had a lot to celebrate: three new babies in our family! The night before, the kids helped Mema dye easter eggs. This was the first time we've done this and it was actually fun. The kids enjoyed it and kudos to my neighbor Tanya who gave us the best idea: we used wire whisks to hold the eggs and then each kid could dip them. It contained the egg and made it SO much easier for the kids to dye the eggs themselves.

And of course, a few pictures of their Easter egg baskets.
Ryan got a new mirror for the car and a toy; the candy I figured was for me since that's the only way he's getting it :)

Caitlin got a Tinkerbell toy, a few small Hello Kitty items, some head bands, candy, and best of all... a microphone! She loved it and gave us quite a few concerts with it.

Evan got a couple legos, a kindergarten workbook, spiderman band-aids, and of course some candy.

All 3 baskets ready for the morning.

After brunch, we took a few family pictures and then set up an Easter egg hunt in the backyard for the kids.

They had fun finding the eggs hidden around the yard and we enjoyed watching them. We hope everyone had a fabulous Easter too!
