Halloween - Final entry

Here it is, the final blog entry on Halloween. I know, it's only a few weeks late but things have been hectic here. This last post will just be short with some pictures from trick-or-treating.  This was the first year that we really did it. Last year, I took Evan to just a few houses while Bryce and Caitlin stayed home. But this year, Evan was ready for the whole deal. We'd had numerous occasions to practice our trick-or-treating etiquette.  We'd also debated all day about when to go, should someone stay home, etc. In the end, we decided to walk around with a few neighbors and also that all of us would go. We left out a few bowls of candy and hoped no one would be THAT person that dumped the whole thing into their bag.

Ready to head out!!

A few pics before we left

Super Why and Princess Presto to the rescue!

Aunt Baba and Uncle Casey even came along with us.

Evan and Alaine - neighbor down the street whom we trick-or-treated with

Caitlin and Miles (Alaine's little brother)

A big group of us - you can't see our other neighbor Jackson behind Alaine but he was Curious George - hence the guy dressed as the man in the yellow hat!  We are all carrying our margaritas that we got at one of the houses... that's trick-or-treating adult style!

Saw our friend Madison while we were out (Strawberry Shortcake)

The kids going up to the houses - both did a great job of doing it by themselves.

I was surprised how into it they both were (especially Caitlin since she's pretty young). It was so fun to watch them. Evan would say trick-or-treat and then both would say Thank You. It was too cute.

And last but not least, we saw Avery and AJ. That about wrapped up our Halloween. It was such a fun time.  And just so you know, our candy bowls were never empty so yeah to our neighborhood kids/families!
