Notre Dame vs. UT

Over Labor Day weekend, Bryce and I headed up to the Midwest to go to the ND vs. UT football game at Notre Dame.  We flew into Detroit and met Bryce's parents.  We went to UofM for the afternoon - had lunch and walked around campus.

Eating at Zingerman's, a favorite of Bryce's

Then, we drove to the West coast of Michigan where our friends had rented a big house on Lake Michigan!

After a long night of "activity", we headed to ND to visit campus, tailgate, and go to the game!  It's amazing how different ND is from when I went there 15 years ago.  I enjoyed showing UT friends around campus and even exploring it myself. The best part was getting to see lots of friends.

The Hesburgh Library and Touchdown Jesus

My friends Rob and Katy with their new baby Rose! So great to see them and meet Rose for the first time!

Chad, his wife Golnaz, and Bill

We scored some awesome 50 yard line tickets thanks to my friend Andy... probably the best seats I've ever had at an ND game!

The Band at halftime.  Again - how great are those seats?

It was a fun weekend (made even better by a great ND victory).  Looking forward to seeing a bunch of people here in Austin for Labor Day this year when ND will be facing off against Texas in our home town.  Anyone who wants to come - we've got plenty of space and would love to see you!
