Introducing Caitlin Stacer

We want to introduce everyone to the newest member of our family... Caitlin Christine Stacer!  She was born on January 20, 2010 at 10:46am. She weighed in at 7 lbs 1 oz and was 19.5 inches in length.  She shares her birthday with my sister, her Aunt Rebecca!  Her middle name Christine is the same as mine and her great-grandmother (Helen Christine).  And of course, she is a Stacer!  We are all so thrilled to finally have her here and healthy.  We've posted pics from the hospital and her first week on our picasa site (see the sidebar links).  We went to the Dr. this week and everything looked great.  She'd already started gaining some weight since leaving the hospital. 

Evan is excited about having a sister although he has not really been able to touch her. The day after we came home from the hospital, he went to the Dr. and was diagnosed with RSV and an ear infection!  So, he has been pretty fussy this past week.  We have to nebulize him twice a day, and he's not very excited about it as you can see.  Fortunately, he seems to be feeling better so we are hoping they can interact soon.  We will go back to the Dr. on Tuesday for both of them and see how they are doing.

Thank you to everyone for the well wishes and congratulations.  We will try to keep posting pictures to our picasa site and updating the blog.  It's hard to find time to do it all between the baby, Evan, and trying to get some sleep!  But, we will try our best.
