From Hocking Hills to Detroit to Midland

We had so much fun with our friends in Hocking Hills. To round-out our trip, here are a few more pics.  After returning from hiking, we spent some time fishing in the lake. This is the best kind of fishing for kids - you drop in your line and the fish IMMEDIATELY bite it. We were pulling fish up every few minutes!  It was great as everyone who wanted to fish could catch one.

Other highlights of the trip included hangout out at the camp fire...

Caitlin and Hannah really enjoying each other's company...

The hot tub!

Swimming!

And most importantly, time with these ladies!
They are my rock and I cherish each of them and their friendship so much. I am so lucky to have had them in my life for over 20 years!

From Hocking Hills, we drove to Detroit (originally we had hoped to go to the Tigers game, but the weather wasn't cooperating).  So, we hit up Detroit's version of a Riverwalk.

We found a fun playground to explore.

We got to ride a Merry-go-round...

And we walked along the river (and through a fountain!). That's the GM building behind them... we went inside for a Starbucks :)

From downtown Detroit, we drove to the suburbs to visit with friends (the Wolf family) and then even further north of Detroit to see Ryan's godparents and meet new baby Eleanor!  We love getting to see so many people when we visit the Midwest. Finally, we got in the car and drove the rest of the way to Bryce's parents house near Midland. And that's where we will pick up the adventure next time!
